Dachi's Fight Against Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia
Donation protected
A dear friend, who is very close to my heart, was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL). His name is Dachi and he is only 6 years old. His mother and father immigrated from Georgia with his sister two years ago to live out the American dream. They are kind, educated, dignified people who instill the importance of hard work, ethics and friendship into their children.
However, with the difficult diagnosis both his mother and father had to abruptly stop working. Dachi requires much care, sometimes traveling 3 times a week to the hospital.
He is under a myriad of invasive testing, chemotherapy and enteral nutrition, which will continue for the next 2 years. Dachi is a wonderful kid who loves his friends, chocolate and playing outside. He enjoys math, chess, and puzzles. However, since his diagnosis he can not do much except stay at home. He is a fighter but is living with a lot of pain to the point where he has days he is afraid to move. He is isolated and not able to attend school.
We are asking you to consider helping their family survive during this difficult time. This diagnosis is a long and difficult journey and any support you can provide is greatly appreciated by me and this special family.
