A Dollar For A Dachshund

Blitz is my dachshund; my late husband got him for me and he's pretty much my world now.
A few days ago, Blitz went off his feed and couldn't take in even water without throwing up. Labs at the animal hospital revealed that his kidney function was very low as a result of dehydration, and imaging revealed a mass in his intestine, which has to be surgically removed. This means several days in the hospital (lots of dollars) and anesthesia (more dollars) and pathology (yet more dollars) on top of the initial cost of the diagnostics (even more dollars) and of course the surgery itself (way more dollars). The goal is the amount quoted to me by the vets as what the whole shebang will cost, and whoa that's a lot of money for little old recently-widowed me with no savings and bad credit.
If a bunch of people give a dollar for this dachshund, it would go a long way toward helping me pay the vet bills and get my baby Blitz back home.
