Dad is in the ICU. Please help my family.

In December of 2019 my mother, father, and youngest brother left my childhood home of over 20 years to move over 300 miles away from their eldest children (my brother and I) to support my grandfather who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. They didn’t complain once, they looked at this opportunity as a new start and to a new beginning. They left positive and determined to create a great life for my youngest brother despite the circumstances (like leaving all his friends behind). In 2020, as you know, the pandemic hit. But my parents, the type of people they are, still remained positive. Then my father’s health took a major decline. This was especially hard because on top of the fact that we love and care for him, my father is the main source of income in their home. My mother has been juggling two men that need constant attention and have been in and out of the hospital for two years. She is doing this, for the most part on her own while trying to raise a teenage son. The worst part of all, is Saturday my father was rushed to the hospital for congestive heart failure. On Monday morning he died and thankfully they resuscitated him. Regardless of that miracle, right now he is currently in the ICU and connected to tubes. He has not opened his eyes or been able to speak to us because he has been put under heavy sedation. Which hurts me most of all because I was just calling him Monday morning as they were bringing my father back to life. They have been trying to slowly wake him up for days now. In this process, I have lost my job that I was promised literally minutes before my brother and I packed up and rushed over here to help in any way we can. I now have to look for a job when all I can think about is my father and the pain my family is feeling. My brother (the 2nd eldest) also lost money to the days off he had to take from work. My mother doesn’t work at the moment because she has a full time job taking care of her husband, her dad, and her son. This has undoubtedly been the hardest week of our lives. If you know my family, you know we hate asking for charity. But as I looked around at my family crying and hearts hurting, I thought about all the people we have helped in our lives without asking anything in return. I don’t know what else to do, I don’t know where to turn, I don’t know who to ask. No one is obviously obligated but anything, absolutely anything, is greatly appreciated. If you’re in a similar financial or medical situation then all I ask is your positive energy and prayer. If you have the energy, sharing this GoFundMe is completely free. Thank you.
