Dad of three battling Stage 4 Colon Cancer
Donation protected
I am raising money to help with the cost of medical expenses for Chris Wallace, who was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer- Signet Ring Cell Carcinoma. Chris will have to drive back and forth to Jackson for his treatment. These funds will help Chris to pay for gas, doctors appointments, items needed while in the hospital, along with any thing that chris and his family may need during this time. Chris is the father of three young children and the husband of Brittney Wallace. Chris fell sick the end of June. Chris was hospitalized June 25,2024. After a week in the hospital his worse fear was confirmed. On July 1, 2024 he received the diagnosis. He will soon start treatment with the hopes that it shrinks the mass and he will be able to undergo surgery called HIPEC. Chris will have to do a minimum of three months of chemotherapy before the surgery. HIPEC is a form of treatment that would allow them to open Chris’s abdominal cavity and remove the mass from his colon along with any other masses. During this surgery the doctors would administer heated chemotherapy to the abdominal cavity. This approach allows the chemotherapy to reach all areas of his abdomen. This surgery alone is expected to take up to 12 hours.
Chris is currently scheduled to have his port put in the end of July. Once his port is placed he will get a chemotherapy schedule. Unfortunately, Chris does not have health insurance. As we all know chemotherapy is very expensive. So until he has some kind of financial support he is unable to start his treatment.
Chris has never been a person to ask anybody for anything. Chris has always worked and supported his wife and children. Chris has been unable to return to work due the medication that he has had to take. The time has come that he needs help. If you could find it in your heart to help this dad and husband fight this battle that they are calling “Stage 4 Colon Cancer, metastasis incurable disease”; I know that they would appreciate it. If you are unable to donate we convent your prayers through this journey.
