Daikaya Group's Staff Fund

As a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic, over the past 2 weeks we have let go of over 95% of our teams at Daikaya Group (Daikaya, Bantam King, Haikan, Hatoba and Tonari).  As so many of our industry neighbors and friends are also going through the struggle of finding the means to help their staff- it makes this so much harder to write.

We are all trying to figure out ways to help during these difficult times and we need your help. This is very uncomfortable to ask. We as hospitality professionals are used to being there to serve you and take care of your needs. But it seems, the tide has turned and now more than ever we need you to help “serve” us. You are not obligated to help, and whether it’s a penny or a dollar or more, every little bit helps!

100% of donations will go directly to our hourly employees who have been impacted by the layoffs. This includes the BoH (prep cooks, line cooks, dishwashers) as well as FOH (runners, servers, bussers, bartenders, hosts). None of the proceeds will go to the owners or cost of running business.
