Daisen Hollands Memorial/ Burial Fund
Donation protected
This past Saturday, at 3:30am, the car that Daisen was a passenger in lost control and crashed. 3 young men lost their lives. Just a week before Christmas, his family is full of heartache and faced with the responsibility of laying him to rest. His passing was untimely and unexpected, and they were not financially prepared for this responsibility. Daisen did not have any life insurance and the cost of laying him to rest is upwards of $5000. In the spirit of the holiday, can we all pitch in a few dollars to help cover the cost of his burial. Daisen was a great kid, and loved by all who knew him. His mother and siblings are in need of a little help. Let us be the people who help them.
My name is Sean Strobel. I have lived in Crystal Lake my whole life. I have known Cheri for 11 years. She has always been a good friend to me, I have always been a good fried to her. When she asked me to help her to find a way to lay Daisen to rest and set up a memorial for him, I knew exactly what I had to do. Just so everyone knows, these funds will go towards the expenses of his cremation, an urn, his memorial celebretion and the catering for that gathering. A small goal was set for this campaign because Daisen was clear about his desires, should he ever lose his life. A cremation and a celebration is all he ever wanted and those wishes are being honored. After our goal is met, I personally will withdraw the funds and take care of all of the financial aspects of Daisen's passing, in an effort to help lighten the load on Cheri in this difficult time. Any left over funds, will go directly to Cheri. At this time, because we shut donations down early, there does not appear to be much leftover. We set an original goal of $6000, once we knew that $5600 would clear after any associated fees, we shut off donations at that point, the costs arranged would be covered. Thank you all for your generosity in this time of need.
