Daisy Hill FC pitch renovations

Hi guys my name is Aaron Hunt. I am a streamer and YouTuber and have recently taken over as the chairman of Daisy Hill FC.

I became affiliated with the club after playing as them on my football manager streams and attracted the attention of the players by doing so. Recently I was approached by club manager, Lee Hill, who informed me of the struggles the club are going through.

I was told that a few of the older board members were stepping down and they were under threat of being forced to exit the league and fold as a club. The club were founded in 1894 and it seemed a shame to let their existence come to an end. It is based in Bolton, so as a local lad I’ve stepped up to help them out in every way I can.

It’s a big project and one that me, the players and the staff are looking forward to getting stuck into. The team is in a good place on the pitch and has one of the best squads they’ve had in years, but off pitch is where the problems lie. Repairs and maintenance jobs that are likely to be costly and the club simply doesn’t have the budget. I’m not a Saudi Prince or a massive investor, I’m here to raise awareness of the club and put the necessary eyes on them to generate future sponsorships and help them to become financially self sufficient going forward.

One of the main elements we need help with is repairing the pitch, which has been ruined by the weather and has had lack of funds to regularly maintain it. It’s going to need roughly 80 tonnes of sand, verti draining, shock wave, weed killing and overseeding, as well as the labour to do so We are trying to raise the money to have all the repairs needed and help us to maintain the pitch going forward to make it a top quality playing surface for the 25/26 season. All donations big and small are massively appreciated and will go a long way to getting these jobs done.
