Hello, my name is Jovany and I’m making this go fund me on behalf of my parents to cover some of the cost of the late passing of my little sister.
It’s sometimes hard to know why things happen as they do, death especially. It doesn’t tell you a time or place of when it’s there for you. On the morning of Saturday November 5, 2022 Daisy passed away due to some complications of an incident that happened. I wish I could find the words to describe what we’re feeling. I want to write down exactly what I feel, but if I did that I wouldn’t write down anything. Instead I’ll tell you a bit about my sister if you never got to meet her.
Daisy was a daughter, a sister, an aunt and a friend to anyone who got to know her. She didn’t have the easiest life. From a young age Daisy was in and out of hospitals dealing with a lot of medical illnesses. My first memory of her was when I was around 4 and she had a seizure. I vividly remember riding in the back of ambulance next to my mom while the paramedics gave her ventilations with a BVM. It wasn’t just that one time, she battled with epilepsy all throughout her life. She wasn’t normal. The doctors diagnosed her with development delay. She always had that little kid attitude. She loved to run around and play, she would try her best to communicate, or she would throw a tantrum because of something she didn’t like. Whenever my mom gave her her medicine was when she would throw the biggest fits. The one thing she loved the most was singing. It always brought a smile to her and the people around her, because when the radio started playing you knew she was about to sing to the top of her lungs or mumble a song if she didn’t know it. Whenever we went to church she would grab the book and sing along. Her all time favorite song being Despacito.
Eventually her illnesses caught up with her and when she was around 11 or 12 I really don’t remember, she developed severe scoliosis and she slowly stopped walking and talking. That didn’t stop her from bringing the joy she had always brought with her. Even when she was in a wheel chair she would move whatever she could move whenever you put a song and she’s mumble the words without a care in the world like if she was on “The Voice”.
If you knew my little sister you’ll know this to be true. She was the type of person you just smiled around for no particular reason and she would smile back if she wasn’t in one of her moods.
We’re thankful for any donations you are able to help pay for funeral expenses as my family and I deal with this loss. Daisy will always be a part of me and everyone who got to meet her. Her smile, her laugh and her perseverance to continue living will forever live with us.
