Daisy Pays It Forward

Our sweet rescue Daisy, at 6 years old, suddenly became lethargic and was losing her appetite. After numerous vet exams and hospital visits, Daisy was finally admitted to hospital. She was losing blood and proteins quickly. She needed emergency transfusions, developed fluids throughout her body and couldn’t hold food down. She was bruised and sore from all the efforts exhausted to uncover the source of these symptoms, but unfortunately Daisy lost her battle and the cause is still unknown. This all came out of nowhere and progressed very quickly. We tried everything we could for her, but it didn’t work.
Daisy was the sweetest, most shy little girl, but when she warmed up to you she made you feel so special. I can recall friends and family with a big smile on their faces saying “Daisy let me pet her!”.
In memory of Daisy, we would like to help support local animal rescues, animal hospitals and assist those in need.
Thank you all for your support during this difficult time!
