DAISY'S LEGACY CHAIN! Laytons London to Amsterdam!

Hi it’s me Layton again, some of you may knew me from “HELP ME EASE DAISY’S CHEMO” and because of you all amazing people I raised over £7000. Well guess what, I have taken on a brand new challenge! When I first agreed to take on this challenge in November, it was to help my friend Daisy but during this time she was fighting cancer for the third time and Daisy was a tough cookie but she sadly lost her fight on the 21st December 2023 with her parents by her side. With the strength and fight Daisy had, she has inspired me to carry on with her always in my heart and to do this bike ride for her legacy. This time I have decided to name this fundraising page, DAISY’S LEGACY CHAIN.

The money I will raise during this, will go towards the Amazing Oncology department and the Ward that looked after Daisy and are still looking after children that need our help and support, in the hope in fighting this disease. I would also like to carry on providing LAYTON’S LUXURIES that have helped the children on these wards that I created throughout my last fundraising.

I will be taking part in the Sheffield Children’s Hospital London to Amsterdam bike ride on the 5th to the 9th of June 2024! Me and my mum Leanne will be cycling approximately 335 miles in 4 days through 4 amazing different countries.

DAY 1 - LONDON TO CALAIS - approx. 85 miles.

DAY 2 - CALAIS TO BRUGES - approx. 80 miles.

DAY 3 - BRUGES TO BREDA - approx. 90 miles.

DAY 4 - BREDA TO AMSTERDAM - approx. 80 miles.

To successfully achieve this bike ride we need to raise a minimum of £4,200 to be able to participate. We will also be seeking sponsorships for our kit, equipment and bicycles to support us throughout this challenge. There is nothing I would love more than to know Daisy is on this journey with me! With this in mind I would love my bicycle and kit to have daisy’s flower with to give me the strength and fight she always had and always will!
