Dajuan Jenkins(24) My son, was out on a job, driving for Uber. Approxmiately, 8:00 p.m. As the customer enter the vehicle, a black pickup truck pulled up and with two male suspects inside. Dajuan was chased down on foot and murdered in Detroit.
Dajaun was a recent graduate from Dorsey school of Culinary Arts. After the completion of his program, Dajaun was offered an job as Assistant Chef at Detroit's MGM Grand Casino. He recently just purchased his first home that he was fixing up from himself and family to live. Dajaun has also been employed with Lyft, the Detroit Tiger Stadium, and Belleville Green House Flowers. Dajaun recently applied and interview with the Detroit Police Department. He was currently working with investors to open his own resturant for Summer 2018.
Dajaun was a very outspoken family man. Ambitious, Humble, Smart, Caring and Giving. He loved to help others in any way possible. Which is one of the reason he was employed with the transportation services. Dajaun leaves to mourn in passing, his Mother Josephine and 4 sibilings.
This fund, in Memory of Dajaun Jenkins will provide financial assistance for funeral/burial services and to finish the build of his home.
