Hello to each person who has deliberately come this far, you have must been blessed to have known our kind boy Dakota as well!

My name is Sarah and I have had the privilege of being Dakota’s aunt as April is my eldest sister. He was the very first baby in my life, always greeting me with giant smiles and hugs, treating each one of us like we were his favourite person.

The money raised on this page will assist in covering funeral costs. Any remaining funds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charity.

As many of you will know, Dakota was born with the inherited disorder called Myotonic Dystrophy. Dakota and parents spent endless nights, weeks and months in and out of the Ronald McDonald House. This charity provided a place for them to stay while Dakota was getting the healthcare he needed most, keeping them close and cared for.

On December 1st we will be having a viewing at H.L. Cudney Funeral Home in Welland at 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The following day we will have a ceremony at St. Kevins church in Welland at 11:00 am, burial to follow at 12:00 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery, Welland.
