Dakota's radiation treatment
Donation protected
As most of you know, Miss Dakota recently had surgery to remove a mass on her anal gland. Although she's recovered well, she's been diagnosed with anal sac apocrine adenocarcinoma and her recommended treatment is a course of radiation therapy to kill any leftover cancer cells.
Unfortunately, there is no veterinary hospital in BC offering this treatment. We've made the decision to bring Dakota to Calgary where she will receive "curative intent" treatment over the course of a month and with this her prognosis is very good!
She will get her treatment regardless but our travel expenses to and from several times are going to add up quickly. If anyone can spare any amount to go towards Dakota it
would be greatly appreciated! <3. With treatment costing thousands of dollars, anything to help with the little things will make all the difference.
