Dale and Sophie Accident in Thailand
Donation protected
Dale Goundry and Sophie Redpath, from Newton Aycliffe (County Durham) in the North East, set off for Thailand in January 2024 which was supposed to be the holiday of a lifetime. However unfortunately less than one week into their holiday, they have had a terrible motorbike accident which has left them with possible life changing injuries and stranded miles away from home.
Dale and Sophie were insured for their bike rides, but have now used up all the insurence money they received, due to several broken bones, operations and pins etc. They both need more surgery and are likely to have to stay in Thailand for a number of weeks.
Family members are highly likely to have to go and stay with them, their accommodation, living costs and once stable, transport home for Sophie and Dale will be needed. It is early days and family will update everyone as soon as they can, as we discover the extent of their injuries and likely recovery path going forward.
All of this will cost a great deal of money and any help that people could give would be much appreciated. We’re aware that January is a difficult month for many. However if those who would like to donate anything, even just a little, will all help make their lives much easier and have a few less things to worry about during their long recovery ahead xxx
