Dale Bailey

We, Kathi Peterson and Jeanne Foster, aunts of Dale Bailey, are setting up a GoFundMe account on his behalf. Dale underwent major heart surgery on August 11, and that surgery requires a minimum of 10 weeks recuperation and time off his job. Dale is on the staff of the hospital where the surgery was done. Those of us who know and love Dale are grateful that he was at work the day he began to have severe leg pain. His boss insisted that he go to the ER, thinking it might be a blood clot. However, Dale then learned of the need for coronary bypass surgery. Dale has worked 32 years at the hospital as an Environmental Associate. It sounds like a fancy name, but the pay is not great. He takes care of hospital waste. Over the years, he has had different tasks, from collecting waste from hospital units to disposing of biowaste, and everything in between. It is an essential job, but not one high on the pay scale. When off work, Dale will receive a portion of his pay, but he barely earns enough to keep his bills paid when he has all of his income. Dale has always been hard working and dependable, generous and kind. We hope these gifts will help to ease financial worries.
