Hello, I'm Esther Blackburn. I was married to Dale for almost 11 years and we share a son (Robert) together. He is the father of 4 beautiful children. Kylie (18), V (17), Theresa (15) and Robert (12). We are all devastated by this sudden loss. Death is never easy and this one has hit so many people. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend.

He passed away on August 6th, 2023, at the age of 40. He was at his home in Albany with 3 of his children and his fiance. He suffered from bad asthma. On Friday, while visiting family in Warrenton, he had an attack that cause him to stop breathing. CPR was performed by his mother and he was in the hospital for 2 nights. They released him Sunday and he picked up his kids and headed home. Shortly after getting there, he had another asthma attack, but this time CPR wasn't enough and he passed away. We are completely devastated by this loss and have no idea what to do from here.

We need help with the costs of transporting him back to Warrenton for a funeral/memorial and burial. Once we know when the funeral/memorial is, we will update with that information. Please help us give Dale a proper burial.
