Dale Edlund Cancer Fund
Donation protected
This fall, Dale was diagnosed with colon cancer, with a small spread to the liver. Over the past few months, he has undergone a few different diagnostic surgeries to collect information about his tumors and create the best plan for him to kick cancer’s butt.
With a go-forward plan in place, Dale is now receiving chemo treatments every two weeks. Once he completes his six scheduled chemo sessions, he will move to the next phase of his treatment: radiation. So far, the chemo has been a bit harder on his body than expected, and we don’t look forward to the addition of radiation.
As you may know, Dale owns his own company and is self-employed in the home building and log remodeling business. You can imagine that his cancer diagnosis and treatment has taken a severe toll on his ability to work. His wife Cheryl is dedicated fulltime to his ongoing care, as well as to being the driver to his endless appointments.
Our goal is to help Dale and Cheryl pay for daily life expenses for the next nine months, as well as all medical costs through the duration of his chemo, radiation, and hopeful surgery next spring. The cruel truth of cancer is that it takes a village of people and support to get through it. Dale, Cheryl, and their families appreciate so very much any help you’re able to provide and any donation you can make.
We will continue to update this page with information as Dale progresses. Thank you and God Bless!
