Daleena's Medical Fund

Daleena Johnson Rupar, a local RN and master nursing student, had angels protecting her when she severely fractured her C1 and C2 of her neck after a fall and hard hit to the head on a river rock. A special thank you to Randy Vike JR. and his girlfriend who happened to be in the right place at the right time, and assisted Daleena’s son, Alex Miller, down and out of the river to the safety and care of the Ryan Brothers Ambulance waiting at Merwin Park. She gives thanks to the brief care received at Janesville St. Mary’s ER and a huge thank you to the UW-Madison trauma unit and Spine Clinic staff (Dr. Tribue).  A heartfelt thank you to Joshua Hoesly and Katherine Johnson for providing 24/7 care to avoid a nursing home placement. Daleena gives thanks for her entire family and all her friends for all the support. She is blessed by angels and will see a full recovery and have full function of her body.
