Dalen Goff Medical Fund

Hi, I’m Tonya Gossage, the sister-in-law to Dalen Goff. Dalen had a stroke and was air-flown to Springfield, MO, after spending a few hours in the emergency room here in Arkansas. We were expecting him to go straight in for brain surgery. But thankfully, they did some additional testing that led us to find out that he has a rare disease called MoyaMoya. He also has a small aneurysm on the left side of his brain that would have caused hemorrhaging if they had performed the surgery. His brain has created new blood vessels, but they are thin and not strong. They are also susceptible to bursting. He’s not getting enough oxygen, but the doctors have put him on a management plan to assist with getting all of this functioning the best it can. Dalen is on low sodium, he must stay hydrated, no work or driving until released by the doctor. Dalen is a strong individual as you all know. Being restricted is tough on him. The stroke has caused Dalen to have some anxiety challenges. The main challenge to date is separation anxiety.

I have opened this account to help with their medical bills, medicine, and any other financial situations that come up during this time. We are believing that the Lord is with him and going to see him through this time. The doctors say he has a long road ahead of him including brain surgery, but we know one who can take care of it all.
