Daleville Police Department K-9 Vet Bills & Food

Donation protected

Daleville Police Department is currently restarting its K-9 Unit Program that is part of the Police Department. We are seeking funds for our K-9 Fund. These funds would be used to send the K-9 and the handler to trainings, purchase supplies, and purchase food. In addition, these funds would also go towards the health care for the K-9.

This unit's purpose is to reduce drug trafficking through the town of Daleville, IN and nearby communities. The town of Daleville has multiple highways that pass through town that are gateways to Delaware County. As one of the first exits that suspected drug traffickers would see from Indianpolis and many other locations they see for Muncie, Daleville is a gateway via Interstate 69. Interstate 69 is currently a route for trafficking between multiple cities with drug trafficking issues. Interstate 69 will eventually be a travel corridor from Mexico to Canada.

Daleville is currently seeking funds to have equipment purchased for the K-9 unit.

Daleville's K-9 would be a crucial part in curbing local drug trafficking. K-9 units are very limited in the area, and could be coming from a distance.

Daleville's nearest K-9 unit could be coming from as far away as Pendleton or Northern Delaware County.
