Why I'm Here - A Heartbroken Mavs Fan

Nico Harrison and the Adelson family have done the unthinkable—trading away our beloved Luka Dončić to the Lakers in exchange for an injury-riddled Anthony Davis and just one first-round pick. One pick!!! As a huge Dallas Mavericks fan, I’m reeling from the shock, frustration, and sorrow this trade has brought to our community. After talking to family and friends who are equally as hurt from this franchise altering decision, and being inspired by a Reddit Post from u/Hot_Takeout, I've decided to take action.

Our plan is to cover the area around the American Airlines Center (AAC) with protest billboards, letting the front office know that Dallas Deserves Better when it comes to team decisions.

The Billboard Plan

I've researched all available billboards near the AAC to determine which ones will best deliver our message.

Budget Breakdown

I've crunched the numbers, and in order to rent the billboards in the immediate area surrounding AAC, we need an average of $82,600. This is based on the average of the minimum and maximum cost of billboard costs in the area.
