Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu, We represent a branch of the American Muslim Medical Student Association, a national group of aspiring doctors committed to creating positive change. Alhamdulillah, we have held many events this past year including a Dallas-wide iftaar, multiple Quran circles at UT Southwestern, weekly jummahs on campus, Shifa lunch talks, serving food to members of our community, and many more events for the local students. We are raising funds to support our efforts in uniting the community through providing meals, organizing events, and engaging in philanthropic and awareness campaigns.
