Sometimes we just need help.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. For those of you who have seen our story since long before this was a restaurant concept, you know about the battles against hate and ignorance I experienced trying to open The Oasis concert house. Recently with extensive delays, we have finally found a working solution to primary power. We ordered our electrical service entrance about 21 months ago now, nearly two years and still no electrical equipment due to extensive lead times impacting the entire country on high amperage switchgear. But now that things are finally coming down to it, doing finishing work has been a 15 hour a day project 7 days a week, and I still have to fit in hours every day to do administrative work! We are hoping to have final inspections started and electrical complete in about 2-3 weeks.

Lots of people have been asking about our availability and hoping to place reservations. As you may know, as The Oasis, we had planned to pledge donations to Meridian Canine, the Humane Society, and other non-profit organizations and now as a restaurant we intend to hold true to those promises we made to the community. And now we need your help! As with many things on this project that have been described as "a longshot" that ended up becoming a reality anyway, here is another one! Maybe our love for good food and community can come together once again. With all the delays we had expected the project to be done around New Year's Eve, at which point we would have made payments to our electricians. Needing payment on plumbing, I have already had to liquidate all of my retirement savings and stand now with nothing. But without payments, our electricians are unable to continue to finish their work to final buildout.
