DaltyBoo’s Birthday Gift!
Donation protected
Hi Skyfam, Family and Friends!
On May 10th, 2024 Daltyboo is turning 28!
For who doesn’t know, Dalton is Deutan Colorblind (red&green colorblind).
Last year, for his birthday, we collected money and purchased a pair of Colorblind Sunglasses from the brand Enchroma. We got a pair that was used (but like new) on Facebook Market and luckily was much cheaper than buying a new pair on the Enchroma website. They work really well and the more he wears them, his eyes adapt to distinguish the colors.
Dalton not only is Colorblind but also doesn’t see very well and has been using prescription contact lenses for years. Recently he purchased two cheap pairs of prescription glasses and sunglasses, so that his eyes could rest from the contacts. The Cons is that he can’t wear his Colorblind sunglasses often because he mainly wears the prescription glasses. End of the story. Dalton's color vision is not improving so much right now. Even to distinguish the colors of his students parachutes can be challenging, no jokes!
For his birthday this year, I thought it would be really nice to get for him a pair of Enchroma Colorblind Sunglasses with Prescription Lenses.
I would have to order it directly through the Enchroma website, and they are really expensive…
The price of the Enchroma Sunglasses (Ellis Cx) is $449 before taxes. With the additional cost of the Prescription Lenses, it might be around $600/650? I won’t know it until I submit the order online...
So expensive but so worth it!

If you like this idea and feel like contributing to Dalty’s Birthday Gift, any amount is welcome and appreciated!
If at the end we don’t manage to collect enough money for it, I will try to get him something else cheaper or even return to you the amount you sent.
I really appreciate everyone of you that can participate. Thank you so much ❤️
I am sure that he will love it!
I will keep you updated.
Sending you all a big hug,
