Damage Relief for Treetops Kitty Cafe
Tax deductible
On December 26th, 2022, we discovered a large portion of the Kitty Cafe was flooded. A pipe in our neighbor's unit burst and left us with thousands of dollars worth of damages.
We've lost weeks of business to being closed while we wait out insurance adjusters and contractors. Our cats are all safely placed in foster homes while the Cafe is being repaired. We need help raising funds to cover the damages and lost business to keep the Cafe's mission running. Please read our mission statement below:
Our mission is to rescue adoptable lost, abandoned, or surrendered animals from high-kill shelters; to supply needed care and medical attention; to provide them with re-socialization in our Cat Cafe where they can interact with humans and potential adopters in a safe and cage-free environment; and to place them in permanent adoptive homes where they will be loved and properly cared for. We pride ourselves in screening our potential adopters to ensure it is the right fit for pet and human.
Treetops Kitty Cafe is a staple in the Kennett Square community. Offering guests and adopters an inclusive, safe, and clean place to interact with homeless rescue cats. Without the Cafe running at full capacity, we cannot give a chance to shelter cats who need us the most. We have been aiming our efforts toward adult cats and cats that have mild behavior or medical issues that make them hard to adopt in a traditional setting. In 2022, we homed 103 cats through our small rescue and cannot wait to help more!
Your donation directly impacts the future of Treetops Kitty Cafe. We would not be here without the support of our amazing community. Please share our fundraiser if you are unable to donate at this time. Every penny goes right back to our efforts to find homes for shelter cats.
