Damian Martinez Fundraiser

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

As you may or may not know, Johnny Javier and Maria's grandson Damian, who turned 16 years old this Fall, was involved in a diving accident last summer which left him paralyzed from the neck down. Damian remains in the hospital until Michael and Erica (Johnny and Maria's daughter) can add an access ramp, handicap bathroom, and a shower on the first floor of their home in upstate NY.

Many of you have asked what you can do to help? This Gofundme page is for all of us to raise money to help get Damian home. Our goal is to raise $75,000. Johnny and Maria are friend, family and co-workers with us at Chelsea Piers for over 25 years. I met them the day I started. They are wonderful people and their family needs our help.
