Damien Europe basketball trip with Team USA
Donation protected
Most of you know basketball is life for Damien. It started before he could even walk. He would roll his basketball around while crawling behind the ball. Little did I know that basketball would later consume both our lives. When he was finally old enough to play with parks and recreation, he was so excited. For him to be only 5, he was so serious. Fast forward to the 5th grade when travel ball came into effect with the First Flight Ballers. That’s when he got the first real taste of competition and he was hooked. Here it is his junior year and basketball is still life. Damien received an invitation from SaWUSA to try out for an international travel team. This opportunity would allow him to represent Currituck County High School, his present AAU team TEAM DOLO, North Carolina, and most importantly USA! On Wednesday, November 10th he received confirmation that he did in fact make the roster. He is beyond excited and humble for the experience to represent his school, state, and country. During his 10 day tour (June 13-22) he will travel to Italy, where he will practice with his new teammates, participate in the United World Games in Klagenfurt, Austria, travel to Munich, Germany before we depart from Italy back to the USA. This is a huge opportunity for him and a incredible asset to his college applications. We are asking for donations to make his dreams to come true. The entry fee for Damien is $4,500+$175 uniforms+$75 Nike USA book bag. We would like to thank everyone in advance. No donation is to small and every donation is greatly appreciated.
