Please help us raise funds for Damion to get the funeral he truly deserves.

️Damion’s Funeral ️

With great relief, I can update you that we do have a date confirmed for little Damion’s funeral which is Tuesday 10th September 2024, 1pm at St Cuthbert’s Church in Lytham.

Thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart for your continued support, we are getting closer to hitting half of our fundraising target which isn’t yet covering the costs, but we have hope we will get there.

Some people have wanted to put their donation towards something specific so I thought it might be helpful to see what we have and still need to cover. If you can offer any extra help or donations, that would be amazing ️

Tara Russell has gone through the unthinkable in her life recently and she is still standing so strong as his mummy. Please keep supporting her in saying goodbye to her beautiful boy.

Please do come and show your support as a community as we can’t guarentee there will be many people there . We’re asking people to wear baby blue or bright blue colours in this little boy’s memory. Thank you for continuing to like and share the posts to raise awareness and please get in touch if there’s anything else you feel you can offer!

All my love

Damion Russell, aged 2 was tragically and brutally murdered in Blackpool, by his own father in August last year, just weeks after the courts granted him sole custody.

Damion’s birth mother Tara had previously tried to warn people of this monster’s capability as he had seriously assaulted and abused her too. Tara was petrified for her son’s life, but sadly it was out of her control, she had no success, very little support from the system, and her worst nightmare came true. Damion was put in the care of his killer.

Fast forward to August 2024, Damion’s little body has been waiting in the morgue for over a year and his birth mother Tara is in desperate need of help and support in order to cover costs to finally lay her baby boy to rest once and for all and give him the funeral he truly deserves.

No child should have ever suffered this way.

Damion mattered, his little life counted and he deserves all our love and help.

Thank you for your kindness.
