Da'Mon goes to Haiti
Tax deductible
UPDATE: We have rescheduled this trip for the summer of 2025!
Da'Mon Stith is the internationally recognized papa bear of the Historical African Martial Arts movement. For years, he has wanted to travel to Haiti to train with the famous Avril family in the esoteric art of Haitian Machete Fencing. By participating in this fundraiser, you can make it happen!
We're seeking to raise funds to cover Da'Mon's airfare to Haiti and tuition for the Haitian Machete Fencing Project's July 2025 summer training intensive.
Airfare will be around $800.
The cost of the program itself is $2000 (half goes directly to the Avril family and the other half covers in-country transportation, food and lodging expenses).
The Haitian Machete Fencing Project is part of the 501c3 nonprofit organization Cultural Capital Haiti, which is handling this fundraiser directly, meaning that your donation is tax deductible in the United States.
