On Friday August 23rd, one of my brothers and best friend Damon Saunders (AKA Yoku) was victim of senseless violence,
Only days before moving back home to Kentucky to be with his family.
As they slept, A roommate of ours entered the household at 5:30 in Sacramento and began firing upon all my brothers: Damon, Rexx, and Blayke.

Damon did not hesitate when choosing to defend himself and others when coming face to face with an armed gunman. However, Damon’s courage which placed him in immediate danger resulted in him suffering direct bullet wounds to the hand, arm, and abdomen.
As if loving uncle, brother, son, and friend weren’t enough, we now get to add HERO.
As as mentioned earlier, Damon was only days away from moving back across the country to Kentucky to be with family and loved ones.
With the wounds inflicted upon him, the doctors have strict orders for him to not travel, causing him to bear the unexpected financial burden of staying in Sacramento without income.
Damon has gone above and beyond in this crisis and as a friend for years leading up to the incident. I hope we all can show that love back to Damon and help him via this go fund me page during his time of need.
