Dan and Missy could use a hand!

Hi, my name is Laura Dailey. Years ago my husband and I met a lifelong friend in Dan Golfin. He then married his beautiful wife Missy and we were blessed with her as a dear friend as well. Some may know Missy has been recently diagnosed and being treated for cancer. Chemo has been tough on her, reducing her ability to bring in income. Dan is self-employed, and they recently bought their home, and Missy lost her father. It’s been a rough period for their family, and last night, Dan had a stroke. He is in the hospital and there is likely permanent damage, but he’s talking thankfully.

Over the years, I’ve seen both of these people sacrifice their needs to help others. They’ve given a place to stay to family and friends, shown up for others, cared for their animals, volunteered time and energy for others and so much more. Now they need help. With Dan out of commission and Missys recent health struggles, the bills will add up fast and we all know how tough times are right now even when you are 100%. They’ve come up from nothing to having a home and their needs met, I cannot sit back and watch them struggle without making an effort to help. I’ve spoken to Missy and have permission to set this up for them. She is being named the beneficiary so the funds can only be accessed by her for their benefit, so there’s no question about that. There’s not many old school good people left in this world and Dan and Missy are the real deal. They truly deserve the help in their time of need.
