Dan Merritt Memorial Fund

Dan was taken suddenly from us on January 3rd, 2021. A memorial fund is being set up for funeral costs and other expenses associated with his passing.
Dan spent most his life in Missoula and is loved by many people here. After graduating high school he served in the US Navy and worked as a firefighter for the Montana Air National Guard. He was hired as a career firefighter for Missoula Rural Fire District in 1995 and retired at the rank of Battalion Chief in 2019. His friends, family, and the community he served will miss him dearly.
