In honor & support for Dan Pimenta

Dan Pimenta was a hero within his community in more ways than one can imagine. He battled a neurological disease, Multiple Scleroris (MS) with strength and humility while serving as a firefighter in Peabody, MA.
MS, a disorder that breaks down the fatty tissues surrounding your integral parts of your brain that send signals can be debiltating for most people. However, Dan is not like most people. He not only fought this diagnosis with a Herculean fashion, he raised awareness for MS at every opportunity possible. This past year, he was one of the top finishers at the annual MS Climb to the top (61 flights), in the most Dan Pimenta style possible, in full firefighter uniform.

In his community, he served as a role model for his two children, Stephanie and Jake and their many classmates and friends. Dan supported his children's athletic interests by often volunteering his time to coach their respective sports teams at Peabody Veterans Memorial High school.

Dan married his best friend, Donna, about 25 years ago. you could see how much Dan loved his beautiful wife, Donna with all of his heart. For his wife's recent 50th birthday, Dan and his family planned a surprise party for Donna where he unveiled a homemade outdoor bar named "Donna's Wine Shack".

As a friend, Dan was the life of the party. Him and Donna hosted the annual Pimenta Pig Roast where Dan would often get into shenanigans such as having an pig eye eating competition with his son, Jake.
A few of Dan's son's friends decided to set up this gofundme page in support of the Pimenta family. Any and all proceeds will go to the Pimenta Family, or consider donating to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. http://www.nationalmssociety.org
Please keep him and his family in your thoughts, we love and will miss him everyday.
