Dan Rider for emergency heart surgery

Hello, my name is Dora Wing. On Wednesday December 27th, my boyfriend Dan Rider had a mild heart attack and was shipped to Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita. The following day while having a heart catheter he had a massive heart attack and was taken straight in for emergency heart surgery. During the surgery they ended up doing 5 bypasses. Friday afternoon he was taken in for a third surgery to replace a collapsed chest tube. Finally on Monday January 1st he was able to be moved out of ICU.

He will be unable to return to work anytime soon. So he is going to need a way to help with living expenses, medical expenses, and travel for medical expenses. UPDATE: For the 3 months following the heart attack he was unable to work therefore the household income was drastically reduced and we were just barely scraping by, then a tragic turn of events happened, our landlord passed away. During Dan's time off work he received no short term disability compensation of any kind from work. All of our rent payments were made in cash as that's the kind of person he was but now we are being evicted and have the expense of finding another place to live. Dan is a very proud person but honestly he is needing help, he has always been there to help others, he has been a volunteer firefighter for 41 years and still to this day is still continuing to do it to be there to help others because that's just the kind of person he is.
