Dan Willard with emergency medical bills

My name is Mike Martin, Dan Willard is my wife's brother. He was taken to the hospital and had to have emergency heart bypass surgery, his wife had a serious injury which is keeping her away from work. We are helping them pay for unexpected medical bills, as well as helping them with household expenses while they have no income.

Dan had to have open heart surgery with veins from his leg and inner chest being used for repair. Dan will remain in ICU for the next 7 days and then will go to rehab for 4-6 weeks. The Doctor said they are probably looking at 5-8 months of recovery because of the extensive damage to his heart. He ended up with a quintuple bypass, one of which goes directly into his upper left heart chamber.
