Dan Zhang's Celebration of Life Fund

In the 30 years Dan spent on earth, he never hesitated to come to a friend’s aid, volunteer to serve his community, or just lend a listening ear to someone in need. His faith in God, insight, intellect, and wisdom helped inspire so many people in his life. Even when he was diagnosed with hepatitis B virus-associated hepatocellular carcinoma, his first concerns were how this would affect his family’s health and how they would feel about his diagnosis before considering himself.

To honor Dan's legacy, we request that instead of flowers or other gifts, please consider giving to this fund. Our hope is for this fund to catalyze significant change to prevent and cure cases like Dan’s for others, to support ministry with a focus on the intersection of faith and science, and to commemorate his contributions as a graduate student. Your gift will go to organizations such as the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Liver Foundation, BioLogos, and Georgia Tech BioE.
