Dana and Dash

Hi, my name is Carrie and I'm a childhood friend of Dana's. Her family could really use our help.

Most if you know that for the past 17 years, her son Dash has been suffering from severe life threatening illnesses. This past Friday, Dash underwent major surgery at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia that lasted hours. While Dash was in the operating room, it was discovered that his condition was worse than expected and his recovery time is now being doubled.

Dana works full-time, attends college full-time for her doctorate degree and takes care of Dash single handedly. She also actively performs community service privately and performs good deeds with her sorority.

Although insured, the unexpected recovery time will burden Dash’s family. Our goal is to help Dana and Dash with expenses such as parking, meals, and unexpected bills - especially since the holidays are approaching quickly. We are asking assistance for a family who is always first to help others, but never asks anyone else for help.
