Dana Jones Needs Our Support!!
In October 2018, Dana began experiencing severe back pain. After several appointments with doctors and trips to the hospital, the cause of the back pain was not identified. Within a couple of weeks, Dana began feeling numbness in her legs which led to her being rushed to the emergency room. On Thanksgiving morning, emergency surgery was performed to relieve extensive pressure of discs on her spinal nerves. While this surgery saved Dana’s life, it left her paralyzed from the waist down. Since the surgery, Dana has been in therapy and is finally being released to her home. Not able to walk, she is going home in a wheelchair.
Life Altering!!
Being in a wheelchair changes everyday situations for Dana; so for the next 45 days, we are raising money to support Dana as she adjusts to this change. For example: building a ramp for access so she can get in and out of her home, adding a lift to her vehicle so she can be transported to therapy with her wheelchair, modifying the bathroom for rails and handles, modifications to the tub/shower area, widening of the doors in the home so she can maneuver the wheelchair in her home.
For our friend and coworker, let’s show our support!! For Dana, who has never met a stranger, let’s show our support! For Dana, who always has a smile, kiss, and hug for everyone she encounters, let’s show our support! For Dana, whose words of encouragement and prayers never cease for us, let’s show our support! For Dana, who always has a positive attitude, let’s show our support! For Dana, who has never lost her faith, let’s show our support! Through donations, our goal is to raise $7,500 to help with these modifications.
