Dana & Kathleens Devastating House Fire Recovery
Donation protected
Dear friends of Kathleen Kitch and Dana Goodman - we are reaching out to ask for your support for Dana and Kathleen, as they recover from the house fire that devastated their home on Saturday, February 4th. As the beautiful and generous hearth and home for so many in our beloved community, they deserve all the support that we can give them for the road ahead. And they know they are blessed with such an amazing community of friends and family and want to thank you all for your outpouring of love that has already come their way! -Anne Pigman
Update (as of February 6, 2023 @ 4:30pm)
Due to such wonderful generosity, we are reaching our initial goal of $10,000 which will help cover the initial cleanup costs, short-term storage & living expenses, and, immediate needs as we initially planned.
We want to extend our deepest and most sincere gratitude to all of those who have donated thus far. As we continue this long and extensive process of cleanup, recovery and eventual rebuilding, we are updating the fundraiser goal.
We have decided to ask for continuing support which will contribute to the ongoing short-term needs, and furthermore, the long-range goal of rebuilding this amazing space. This the very real increase in the goal from $10,000 to $150,000.
The generosity and hospitality that Dana and Kathleen have shared with all who have walked down the hill and into their doors has been truly profound over the last three decades. They’ve given freely from their deep love of friendship and community, and they are in need of this support as they rebuild this place which will continue to be a beloved community space for decades to come.
We will continue to provide more information about the efforts and needs of Dana and Kathleen, their home, and the community they have so selflessly built and welcomed as an integral part of their lives.
