Dana Lost her Home & Needs our Help - Maui Fires

Hi my name is Kara and I grew up with Dana in Calistoga and we kept in touch over the years with my annual visits after she moved to beautiful Maui. Anyone who has met Dana knows she is a beautiful and generous soul, and should consider themself lucky if they can call her a friend. She always knows the best adventure spots and can turn the most ordinary thing into a fun excursion. She is generous with her time and empathy and laughter. Our girl always brings the sunshine.

Dana had just moved into a new house and was only able to leave with what she had on her. In addition to the heartbreak of watching her beloved Lahaina Town and community lose so much, unfortunately her house is a total loss. All her personal belongings, clothes, photos, things she has gathered along the way in life, and mementos are gone.

The funds will be used to help her rebuild from scratch. For all necessities, for housing while she is displaced and looking for long term housing, all of it. Trying to replace everything you have ever owned is a daunting task and will take some healing alongside it.

This level of fire devastation is not our first rodeo for Sonoma and Napa county, so let’s show our hometown strength, unity, and love to get our girl the help she needs #mauistrong #calistogastrong #sonomastrong
