Dana's Power Hammer Fund!

Hello! I am a transgender bladesmith who's trying to expand her shop. Why should you help out?  The smithing industry is both a white-washed and heavily male-dominated industry. I am far from the only trans or LGBT smith, but I am trying to create a space in my area where folks of all backgrounds can come, learn, and eventually create a career for themselves as a smith should that be the path they take. To do that, it is important that I can provide the necessary backbone for my shop, and while I have been doing okay with hand tools, a power hammer will allow me to make more art and provide better equipment for students and apprentices to come to learn and grow as artists. The goal is to not have this be my hammer or my shop, but eventually to be a shop for a small community of artists in an underrepresented field.
