Team Dana

On Friday, October 23, 2015 our precious Dana went to the emergency room with a severe headache.  To our disbelief, tests revealed that a brain tumor was the cause of the tremendous pain and loss of peripheral eye sight on her left side.  She was rushed to Presbyterian hospital and underwent brain surgery to remove the tumor.  She will need follow up treatment of radiation and chemotherapy as we have been told it is most likely "not benign”.

Dana is home recovering from her surgery. She has a lot of pain and is frightened as you can imagine.   We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from family and friends all over the country, many of whom have asked how they can help.  First and foremost, we ask for your continued prayers for a favorable diagnosis.  Dana is scheduled to meet with her Oncologist this Friday.  Many of you have expressed an interest in giving financial help, so we created this fund as a response.  God bless you all for your kindness.

Dana is a graduate of Penn Trafford High School (class of 1991) of Penn State University (class of 1995), a district executive for the Boy Scouts of America, a wife (Chip), a mother (Carter 11, Cate 7), a daughter, a sister and a friend to all.  She is first in line to lend a hand to anyone.
