Our Story

Dance Academy of Libertyville is more than just a dance school. For almost 30 years we have provided quality training for students not just interested in pursuing a career in dance, but also for those who are just dancing for fun. DAL is a place that provides friendship with common interests, a support system outside of school and home, and a place where dancers are given the tools for confidence, time management and creative thinking. Our passion is to continue to provide that for our students and the community.

Why We Need Your Help

As with many small businesses, the school was decimated by COVID. We fought through the pandemic and years to follow, to keep the doors open, dancers dancing and all employees working. This has been to the detriment of the stability of the business. It has become an increasing challenge to get out from the undertaking and not pass the burden on to our families or faculty.

As we optimistically look toward the future, our goal is to be able to continue to grow, provide for our dancers, update our facility, and provide for our community.
