Dance for Holly!

The Story:

Make-A-Wish is a nonprofit organization that grants "wishes" to children with life-threatening illnesses to give them the boost they need to keep going. Holly is one of these children. She is 6 years old and her wish is to go to Walt Disney World.

I’m hosting a fundraising dance on August 17th, 2019, in honor of Holly and her family!! I'm doing it to give back for all Make-A-Wish for all they do to light the lives of wish children, their families, and everyone involved in and inspired by their stories.

Come dance to share the joy, light Holly's life, and change the world! My goal for attendance at the event is 1,000 people. All ages are welcome! A $5 admission fee will be charged per person to cover event expenses (I’m not making any money from the event) and raise a donation of $3,000 or more!!

What You Can Do:

I need your help! In order to reserve the location, get approved by the city to hold the event, and pay for required utilities, I'll need a substantial deposit within the next couple of months. The only problem is, I'm a college student without savings (surprise!), and I won't get monetary support until the time of the event when $5 admission is paid. Your advance donation will save my neck, and every penny means the world to me.

The Breakdown:

$252 - Cost of event insurance required to submit with the reservation application (already paid out of pocket)

$1,125 - Cost of required reservation deposit (immediately)

~$575 - Cost of application approval fee to compensate city departments for time taken to review the application (immediately)
