Dance Robert, Dance - Short Film
Donation protected
An off-kilter father wants to enter his life-sized child doll into a talent show, but society's cruel treatment towards him leaves his life tearing apart at the seams…
Dance Robert, Dance tells the story of moving on in life and just how hard that decision can be. Do we personify our problems into something comforting, so they don't seem real? How far do we go to deny the truth?
Hi everyone; my name is Dylan Cole, and I am a graduate film student at Sacred Heart University. I am seeking fundraising for my upcoming five-minute short film titled: Dance Robert, Dance. This film is an emotional and dramatic story about overcoming hardships, even in strange ways. This is an important story that everyone can relate to and needs to be told; we can make that possible with your donations.
I have already acquired a team of professionals to help bring this story to life and make something special. We will be shooting in mid-December 2022 in a few different locations throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut.
Your support would be greatly appreciated and would go towards the following:
- Talent fees for our skilled actors
- Food for all cast and crew during our two-day shoot
- Fees for the locations we will be shooting at
- Props that bring this story to life
If you, or someone you know, is passionate about telling impactful stories that can change lives, please invite them to support this project. I am so thankful for all the support, spreading the word about this project, and helping it become something incredible!
