Hi, my name is Diana Dobrescu, transmedia artist

growing performances and audiovisual work that aims to dismantle patriarchy and connect people worldwide through music and astrology.

I'm excited to introduce to you.....

Project "HORA" - a movement from identity to ancestry,

a wish for celebration and a collaborative shoutout to the beauty of my Romanian roots. After spending years touring the world, producing dancing tracks and blasting performances, this new project is taking a social, environmental and cultural lead.

Travelling to Romania will allow me and my team to meet local creatives that we want to support through the collaborative makings of "HORA" , and to research about traditional Romanian dances, textiles, instruments and rituals - that shaped the reality of my ancestors that I didn't get to meet in this lifetime.

Your participation to the project, will not only be used for musical production and for the documentation that I will provide via my social medias to keep you informed, but also enabling the social work with groups of women artisans, and the possibility to collect traditional instruments as to build the album.

I hope this project and my work do inspire you so to help me with this crowdfunding.
