Pat and Dan Damon lost their home to the Lilac Fire Dec. 7, 2017, Pearl Harbor Day. Their Home Owners Insurance was recently canceled do to a High Risk of Fire.

On December 7, 2017, seventy two units of the senior residents living in Rancho Monserate Mobile Home Park lost their homes to the Lilac Fire. Among those are Pat and Dan Damon. Dan is an Air Force Veteran who served his country honorably during the Vietnam War.

As Dan and Pat’s fellow residents struggle to recover in the fires aftermath, Dan is uncertain of what to do next. Dan and Pat had Home Owners Insurance but the insurance company refused to renew it recently due to a ‘High Risk of Fire’ in the Fallbrook area and he was searching for insurance.

Dan is also a performing musician who not only lost his home but 95% of his musical instruments and equipment as well. He performs for large groups and also at many senior rest homes. Suffering the loss of both home and occupation is devastating, and with the temporary loss of home owners insurance they are in desperate need of help.
