Dane LeBeau Accident & Displacement Fund

The purpose of this is to provide financial relief for Dane as he finds footing after a devastating loss in a recent accident (article at the bottom). Dane’s home, the Ford Majestic RV, is entirely unusable and potentially totaled. Insurance is offering extremely limited (and very slow moving) help in this situation due to the other party’s inadequate coverage.

Additionally, the impounding of the RV 2,000 miles from my home left us no choice but to pack up almost everything Dane owns, rent a truck, stay in hotels, and begin a long haul back to Illinois as quickly as possible. These unexpected costs have come almost entirely out of pocket.

Any money donated would be put toward repairing & recovering the Majestic OR toward a next home for Dane to live. It would also help with rental and hotel costs helping us make the journey back.

This experience was the last thing we expected, and has been nothing short of humbling. We are both still very sore and shaken. A potent reminder to count our blessings. We have spent every moment since the accident dealing with the extensive mess.
