Dane Norburn snowboarding box memorial

As many of you know, in the month of September my son Dane unfortunately passed away. So many people have lovingly reached out to offer their support and I am pleased to announce a newfound way to do so.

In reminiscing on his joyful spirit, I found that the best way to let his memory live on is by honoring what he loved most: snowboarding. The winter was when Dane was the happiest, he lived and breathed snowboarding. It was when he truly felt free- a concept that I hold close to my heart.

I am beyond excited to announce that I will be holding a fundraiser to honor Dane’s life and celebrate his 30th birthday. I plan to partner with Gnarbear to design, construct and implant a customized snowboarding terrain box and then donate it to Nubs Nob Ski Resort in Harbor Springs, Michigan.

Dane was well known around Nub's Nob. Not only was he always willing to lend a helping hand, but he was always smiling. Dane’s memory will live on forever through adventurous souls like himself who use the custom box.

More information will be provided as the project progresses, and if you are willing to donate towards the process it would be greatly appreciated. Any amount is enough and will be directly transferred to an account dedicated to the project.
