Dang Lee's Medical Bills

On December 7th, 2023, my family received devastating news, that our brother, Dang Lee, needed to have his heart operated on. This came as a shock to us all because we weren't aware that his health was in bad condition. Maybe he wasn't aware of it himself either.

My mother received a phone call from him just moments before he was admitted to the hospital, but he was not able to say anything, and so she assumed he had dialed it by accident. He suffered two tears on the heart valves and needed immediate surgery. By the time my parents found out he was in the hospital, they couldn't even visit him because he was already flown to another hospital, where they had the technology and tools necessary to perform the operation. The surgery and post-recovery took a total of eight hours and so all we could do was wait.

He is currently and slowly recovering, although we may not know how soon, we know it will be a long journey. He will continue his stay in Milwaukee for a couple of weeks, with a third surgery pending upon recovery.

Dang is a stubborn individual who does not ask for help often, even when he is pinned against the corner, and will gladly and willingly help others who ask of him. With him being hospitalized and unable to return to work, we, the family of Dang Lee, are asking for your help and prayers as we all navigate through these challenging times during the Holiday season. No amount is too small and is greatly appreciated; all donations will go towards his medical bills so that his wife and children will have one less thing to worry about.
